Today I was surprised to see a relay race happening on the school grounds.
I hear it’s a very popular sporting event in Japan.
It looked very interesting, although I don’t think I could run that much.

In Iceland, we prefer indoor sports (it’s cold, you know) and events
like that are usually held in the gym rather than in the grounds.
We hold a swim meet almost every month.
