今年度も昨年度に引き続きC-NETの先生は、アイスランド出身のビルギル先生です。どうぞ宜しくお願いします。
今回は先日行われた入学式の日の様子や、アイスランドとの違いなどについて書いてくれています。新入生のみなさんには難しいとは思いますが、知っている単語を見つけて訳すだけでも十分です。23年生の皆さんは頑張って訳してみましょう！

April 5
Today is the first day of the school year. The cherry trees
are blooming and new students are coming to our school.
Wonderful! It was great to see so many happy faces and I
knew most of them.
The entrance ceremony was lovely. It was my first time
seeing one in Japan.
In Iceland, our ceremony is only a short speech and getting assigned into grades. And no pretty cherry trees!
Needless to say, I feel lucky to have been here with you
today.
