今週のビルギル先生の英語記事は、‘とある’場所に住む‘ある’動物の話です。ビルギル先生は主に火曜日に市岡中学校で授業をしています。とても聞き取りやすい英語を話して下さいます。日本が大好きで１年前に日本に来たとは思ないほど日本の文化についてもよくご存じで、日本語もどんどん上達しています。きっと日本語習得にたくさん努力されているはずです！是非、廊下や階段で先生を見つけたら、元気よく話しかけて下さい！もちろん英語で！

I often walk around Osaka castle on the weekends. The park is very big and
sometimes there are interesting events. Last weekend I saw a Thai festival.
Do you know about the cat that lives outside Osaka castle? He’s brown and
very fat. Every time I see him, he’s lying down on the grass and not doing
anything. I think he likes to steal food from people on picnics around the
park so now he’s become really big.
I decided to name him Hideyoshi after the famous general who lived in the
castle a few hundred years ago.
If you visit the castle, you should go see him. He’s very cute.
