My favorite Korean dessert!
There is a great Korean café in Kyoto called Somushi-Kochaya.
It is a little west of the Sanjo-Karasuma intersection and is across the street from the Sanjo Mitsui Garden Hotel. The dessert that you see above is called… pappinsu… I think… or is it papbinsu… I’m not sure…
But as delicious as it is, it’s sad that it is only offered for a few weeks around the time of Gion Festival. But it is FANTASTIC, I wish they had it longer! Watermelon, kiwi, pineapple, a big cherry, bits of rice cake, and sweet red-bean paste over the softest shaven ice… FANTASTIC… and then you mix it all up Korean style!!! Come on out to Kyoto next year and enjoy!

いっちゃん好きな韓国デザート
京都にはとってもいい感じの素夢子古茶家という韓国カフェがあります。
素夢子古茶家は京都の三条烏丸交差点よりおよそ４０メートル西の方に入ったところに位置し、三井ガーデンホテル三条の向かい側にあります。上記のデザートはパッピンスという…と思います。パッビンスやったっけ？あ〜ちょっと分からへん。めっちゃくっちゃうまいんですけど、祇園祭中の１ヶ月間の極限られた期間しか販売していません。もうほんまにうまいですから、もっと長く出して欲しいわぁ！西瓜、キーウィ、パインアップル、大きな桜ん坊、お餅、と小倉がビックリする…なんかフワッとしているかき氷の上にのっていて、んで最後、韓国流で全部混ぜる！もうほんまにうまいって！来年こそ京都にいらっして、食べてみたらいかがですか。
