5-9 Journal – after Golden Week
How was Golden Week everyone? Did you have fun? I hope so.
I had a very busy Golden Week because I went to the ____________. It took about three and a half hours to go there by plane. It was very beautiful, but very hot and humid in the _____________. I stayed at a nice hotel, relaxed on the beach, and ate many mangoes and bananas. I also went snorkeling and saw many fish. Then I swam with whale sharks near a city called Oslob. The people in the ___________ speak English and Tagalog, so it wasn’t difficult to communicate. Most of the people were nice and friendly and some even spoke some Japanese. I was surprised! I had a good time in this island country and I want to go again!
