8-24 Journal – The end of summer
　Hey, everyone! How was your summer? Do you have lots of good summer memories? I have a few to share with you today.
　This summer vacation was very busy for me. I had to work during the week, but I got to have fun with my friends on the weekends. On one weekend I went to the Suma beach and then to the aquarium with my friends. We enjoyed swimming and talking at the beach, and we enjoyed seeing all of the animals and fish at the aquarium even though we didn’t get to see the dolphin show at night.
　On another weekend I went to the Nifrel aquarium with some other friends and we had a BBQ at Bampaku park. At Nifrel there were also many interesting animals and fish to see. Many people were excited to see the white tiger. I thought it was an interesting place to visit!
　My last good summer memory is from last weekend, when two of my brothers came to Osaka. We went sightseeing in Kyoto, toured Osaka castle, and ate many foods that are famous in Osaka. My brothers liked kushikatsu and okonomiyaki, but they didn’t like takoyaki. Too bad.
　I didn’t get to go back to America, but I did have a fun and happy summer vacation. I hope you all did too! See you soon!
