Hello, my name is John Hommel. I’m from America. I’ve lived in Japan for 4 years.
My hometown is California but I also lived in Hawaii for 6 years when I was in junior high school and high school.
My hobby is a martial art called Brazilian jiu-jitsu. It’s similar to judo and wrestling.
I also love eating delicious food. Of course, I like hamburgers and pizza and steak, but I also love Japanese food. My favorites are sashimi, ramen, and okonomiyaki.
I’m excited to be your English teacher and to get to know everyone this year.
