本校は、今年度、創立50周年という大きな節目を迎えます。
湯里小学校は、小さな学校です。しかし、私たちはこの「小ささ」を、本校の大きな魅力の一つだと考えています。
子どもたち一人ひとりの顔が見え、名前が分かり、学年を越えて子どもたち同士がつながる。教職員も、担任だけでなく学校全体で子どもたちを見守り、育てていく。そんな温かな学校づくりを大切にしています。

一方で、学校の施設はゆったりとしています。約4,500平方メートルの広い運動場では、休み時間になると子どもたちが元気いっぱいに走り回り、サッカーやさまざまな遊びを楽しんでいます。また、プールも新しくなり、水泳学習にも力を入れています。広々とした環境を生かし、学習だけでなく、子どもたちがしっかりと体を動かし、運動する楽しさを感じられる学校でありたいと考えています。

そして、湯里小学校の学びは、学校の中だけにとどまりません。
地域の皆様との交流をはじめ、大阪・関西万博をきっかけに始まったケニアとの交流など、地域から大阪へ、そして世界へと、子どもたちの学びは大きく広がっています。さまざまな人や文化、考え方に出会い、「知りたい」「やってみたい」「もっとつながりたい」と感じる経験を大切にしています。
また、ICTを活用した学習や国際理解教育、異学年交流などを通して、一人ひとりが自分のよさを発揮しながら、互いの違いを認め、共に学び、共に成長できる学校をめざしています。

これは、創立50周年を迎える湯里小学校の大切な言葉です。
学校選択制などを通して本校に関心をもってくださった皆様にも、ぜひ一度、湯里小学校の子どもたちの様子や学校の雰囲気を知っていただければと思います。

Small School, Big Connections

Thank you for visiting the Yuzato Elementary School website.

This year, our school celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Yuzato Elementary School is a small school, and we believe that being small is one of our greatest strengths. Teachers and staff know each child well, and children learn and play together across different grades. We value this warm and caring school environment.

Our school also has a large playground of about 4,500 square meters and a new swimming pool. Children enjoy playing soccer, swimming, and many other physical activities. We want every child to enjoy both learning and being active.

Learning at Yuzato Elementary School goes beyond the school. Through activities with our local community and our international exchange with Kenya, which began through Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, our children have opportunities to connect with different people, cultures, and ideas from around the world.
We also use ICT in our lessons and promote international understanding. We want every child to discover their strengths, respect others, and enjoy learning and growing together.
