いわしのしょうがじょうゆかけ、含め煮、いり大豆

本日のメニューは節分献立でした。日本では、節分に邪気退散の願いを込めて、鬼役の人を鬼に見立てて豆まきをしたり、恵方巻をその年の方位に向いて食べたり、豆を歳の数だけ食べ、イワシの頭を大豆の枝に刺して、悪霊退散の願いを込めて玄関に置いておくという風習があります。なお、ウィキペディアによると、各地の伝承としては、豆まきは必ずしも節分のみに行われたわけではなく、煤払いの日、大晦日、七日正月などに行う地域もあった。岩手県西根町や釜石市の一部では煤払いの日などにも豆まきが行われた。とあります。

いわしのしょうがじょうゆかけは脂がのっていて、身が柔らかく、炒り大豆は食感はカリッとしていて、大豆の味がしっかりあり、含め煮は野菜たっぷりで栄養満点でした。
福は内、鬼は外。

Sardines with ginger soy sauce,　boiled including, roasted soybeans

Today's menu was a Setsubun menu. In Japan, on Setsubun, people throw beans while imitating a demon, eat ehomaki while facing the direction of the year, eat the same number of beans as their age, and stick a sardine head on a soybean branch and leave it at the entrance of their house with the hope of driving away evil spirits. According to Wikipedia, local traditions include bean throwing, which was not necessarily only done on Setsubun, but also on soot-sweeping day, New Year's Eve, and the seventh day of the New Year. In Nishine Town and parts of Kamaishi City in Iwate Prefecture, bean throwing was also done on soot-sweeping day.

The sardines with ginger soy sauce were fatty and soft, the roasted soybeans were crispy and had a strong soybean flavor, and the　boiled including were full of vegetables and very nutritious.

私たちはどうやって生まれたのかを勉強しました。あかちゃんはお母さんのおなかの中で、どのように大きくなっていったのかをモデルを使って説明してもらいました。その後、おなかの赤ちゃんをさわらせてもらいました。

今日の児童集会は保健委員会の発表です。保健委員会ではみんなの睡眠について考えました。睡眠をテーマにした絵本を読んで、睡眠の大切さをアピールしました。

Buổi họp hôm nay là bài thuyết trình của Ủy ban Y tế. Ủy ban Y tế đã nghĩ về giấc ngủ của mọi người. Họ đọc một cuốn sách tranh về chủ đề giấc ngủ và kêu gọi tầm quan trọng của giấc ngủ.

ビーフシチュー、カリフラワーとコーンのサラダ、カレーフィッシュ
本日の給食はビーフシチュー、カリフラワーとコーンのサラダ、カレーフィッシュという、純洋風のメニューでした。ビーフシチューはお肉は柔らかく、ソースが濃厚で、カリフラワーとコーンのサラダは酸味があり、シャキシャキで、カレーフィッシュはカレーの味と小魚のうま味が噛めば噛むほど実感できる一品でした。
西洋料理は和食とはまた異なった味で面白いですね。
ごちそうさまでした。

Beef stew, cauliflower and corn salad, curry fish
Today's school lunch was a purely Western menu of beef stew, cauliflower and corn salad, and curry fish. The beef stew had tender meat and a rich sauce, the cauliflower and corn salad was sour and crunchy, and the curry fish had a curry flavor and the umami of the small fish that you could really taste the more you chewed it.
Western food has a different taste from Japanese food, which is interesting.
