[IMPORTANT] Temporary School Closure During Severe Weather/Disasters

Typhoon No. 15 may approach the Kinki region from the afternoon of September 4 through September 5. To prioritize student safety, the school will implement a temporary closure (no school) if any of the following criteria are met.

If a relevant warning is in effect at 7:00 a.m., or if one is issued/occurs between 7:00 a.m. and the start of school.

1 When an Emergency Warning is issued for Osaka City
　※ Any type of Emergency Warning results in closure.

2 When a Storm Warning is issued for Osaka City
　※ Closure applies only to a Storm Warning. A “Heavy Rain Warning” or “Strong Wind Advisory,” etc., is not included.

3 When Osaka City issues Alert Level 3 or Alert Level 4 (e.g., for river flooding) for any area within Kita Ward
　※ Notices labeled “equivalent to Alert Level 3” (相当) are city-wide reference information by the JMA. Please confirm Osaka City’s official, area-specific announcement (without “equivalent”).

4 When both Osaka Metro (including the New Tram) and the JR Osaka Loop Line are suspended on all lines as of 7:00 a.m.

Please check the latest weather information frequently and exercise due caution.

[Important] School Open Day & Information Session

Today and tomorrow, our school will hold a School Open Day and Information Session as outlined below.

This School Open Day and Information Session are intended for those who wish to use them as a reference when selecting a school. The Entrance Guidance Session for new first-year students will be held separately around February.

However, a typhoon is expected to approach.
If, after 7:00 a.m. on the day, Osaka City issues a "Storm Warning" or "Special Warning," school will be closed, and the School Open Day and Information Session will be canceled or postponed.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Today’s School Lunch

Today’s menu was:
・Tanin-don (Beef and Egg Rice Bowl)
・Stir-fried Chicken Tenderloin and Cabbage
・Okra with Sweet Vinegar
・Fried Fish with Candied Sweet Potato Coating
・Steamed Rice
・Milk

Today, we visited Class 2-3.
While other classes were still in the middle of serving, Class 2-3 was already saying “Itadakimasu!” early on.
The speed of their serving showed just how well they worked together as a team.

During today’s lunchtime broadcast, the Student Council welcomed our C-NET, Mr. John, and asked him a variety of questions in English, which he kindly answered.
We would like to thank the Student Council for planning this wonderful event, and also Mr. John for gladly joining the interview despite it being during lunchtime.

Appointment
Starting today, a new C-NET (The Osaka City NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHERS) member has joined our school.
His name is Mamonluk John.
We are delighted to have him on our team.
