ポトフ、カレーソテー、いよかん

ポトフは、ウィキペディアによると、フランスの家庭料理の一つで、鍋に塊のままの牛肉、野菜類に香辛料を入れて長時間煮込んだものです。フランス語でpotは鍋や壺、feuは火を示すため、「火にかけた鍋」といった意味になるそうです。

本日はウインナーや野菜、牛肉の入ったポトフが出ました。牛肉は歯ごたえがあり、ウインナーや野菜がたくさん入っていました。
ごちそうさまでした。

Pot-au-feu, curry saute, iyokan

According to Wikipedia, pot-au-feu is a French home-cooking dish in which chunks of beef and vegetables are simmered in a pot with spices for a long time. In French, pot means pot or jar, and feu means fire, so the word means "pot on fire."

Today, we had pot-au-feu with sausages, vegetables, and beef. The beef was chewy and there were lots of sausages and vegetables.
