本校に、大阪市外国人英語指導員（City-Native English Teacherと呼び、C-NETと略称）としてウェイン・ダム先生が来られています。ウェイン・ダム先生の日記を紹介します。わかるかな〜？

「My Experience at Kasugade」
　I go to Kasugade Junior High School on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays to teach English. I teach the first, second, and third year students. I also teach at three elementary schools as well. I have been teaching at Konohana Ku for 2 years now. The students that I taught at the elementary school have graduated and came to Kasugade Junior High School. This is an excellent chance for me to see how much they learned in elementary school and if they are ready for junior high school. The students that do well in elementary school continue to do well in junior high. I think English should be taught as early as possible and should be part of the regular classroom curriculum.


「春日出での経験」
　私は春日出中学校で月・火・水と全学年に英語を教えています。また、３つの小学校でも教えています。今まで２年間、此花区で教えてきました。私が小学校で教えた生徒たちが卒業し、その生徒たちが今この春日出中学校に通っています。その生徒たちが小学校で学んだことをどれくらいわかっているか、中学校への準備は出来ているかどうかを知ることは私にとってすばらしい機会だと思っています。小学校でよく勉強してきた生徒たちは中学校でもしっかり勉強し続けています。私は英語というものはなるべく早く学ぶ必要があり、通常の教科課程の一部であるべきだと思っております。
