本校に、大阪市外国人英語指導員（City-Native English Teacherと呼び、C-NETと略称）としてウェイン・ダム先生が来られています。ウェイン・ダム先生の日記を紹介します。

　Obon Festival

　The Obon festival is a time to honor the spirits of one’s ancestors. During this festival, the ancestors return to their families’ home. It is a tradition to spend time with family and clean the grave of the ancestors. Different regions in Japan celebrate the festival at different times.

　お盆

　お盆はそれぞれのご先祖様の霊を尊敬する時期である。その期間ご先祖様はそれぞれの家族の家にもどる。家族と一緒に時間を過ごし、ご先祖様のお墓をきれいにするのがしきたりである。このころとは別の時期にお盆を迎える地域も日本にあります。
