本校に、大阪市外国人英語指導員（City-Native English Teacherと呼び、C-NETと略称）としてウェイン・ダム先生が来られています。
　今日もウェイン・ダム先生の日記にチャレンジしよう！

　「A Rainy Day」
　Because of Japan’s geographical location, it receives a lot of rain; especially during the rainy season. I was on my way to school during one of these rainy days and a car drove by and splashed water all over me. One of the teachers asked me what happened and I told him I got wet because of a car. I didn’t tell him where it happened but he knew because apparently it seems to happen very often at that location.

　「雨の日」
　日本は地理的に雨が多く、特に雨季には多い。その雨の日、学校へ行く途中、私のそばを通った車にはねをかけられ全身水を浴びた。
　先生の１人が、どうしたのか尋ねたので、車のせいで濡れてしまったと言った。どこでそうなったのかは言わなかったが、その先生は、それだけでわかったようだ。というのは、よくそんなことが起こる場所らしい。
