　「Junior High English Day」
　We had junior high school English Day this past weekend. There were about 280 students from about 20 schools. The activities were the same as the elementary school English Day, but were more challenging. Students were required to speak English more. I think the students really enjoyed the raffle at the closing ceremony. We gave out prizes and told the students English/Japanese jokes.

　「中学校のイングリッシュ・デイ」
　先週末中学校のイングリッシュ・デイがありました。約２０校から２８０人ほどの生徒が参加しました。小学校のイングリッシュ・デイと同じような活動でしたが、内容は高度なものでした。よりたくさんの英語を使うことが強いられたのです。閉会式で生徒たちはクジ引きをとても楽しんだと思います。私たちは賞を発表しましたが、実は冗談だと生徒たちに伝えたのです。
