本校に、大阪市外国人英語指導員（City-Native English Teacherと呼び、C-NETと略称）としてウェイン・ダム先生が来られています。

　「The Flu」
　The influenza virus is spreading very fast this winter season. Many classes at my schools have already been cancelled because too many children got the flu (influenza virus). The symptoms for this season’s influenza virus are coughing and sore throat. A fever will soon follow after. Frequent hand washing and wearing masks will help with not spreading the virus.

　「インフルエンザ」
　インフルエンザウイルスが、この冬急速に広がっている。私の勤務している学校でも、あまりにもたくさんの生徒がインフルエンザになってしまい、すでに学級休業がたくさん出ています。今回のインフルエンザウイルスは咳や喉の痛みといった症状が出るようです。その後まもなくして熱が出てくるようです。ウイルスを広げないためにも手洗いやマスク着用が大切でしょう。
