　Last week a student asked me if I like spiders. I said that I like spiders very much. I think spiders are very misunderstood. People are afraid of them because they are hairy and have many legs and eyes. They can also bite people. But spiders are very helpful. They eat bugs that come into your house, so they help to keep your house clean. They also eat bugs, like mosquitos, that want to eat you. They don’t want to hurt people, and they usually try to hide from people. They will only bite you if you surprise them or scare them. So please be nice to spiders and don’t squish them. Spiders are our friends.
