　When I left my apartment this morning, I was very surprised to see a centipede outside my door. I have seen centipedes in Japan before, but I don’t see them very often. I think they usually live in the country, and they don’t like the city very much. I have heard that it can be very painful if they bite you, but I think I am safe because it was walking away from my apartment. So I didn’t squish it. I took a picture with my cellphone and then I continued to school.
