　In Japan now, summer vacation has begun and students have about a month off from school. However, students in the USA are getting ready to go back to school, because their summer vacation will end soon. Summer vacation in the USA is very long. It usually starts in the middle of May and finishes in the middle of August. So summer vacation in the US is about three months long. I enjoyed such a long summer vacation when I was a student, but I think I like Japan’s shorter vacation now that I am a teacher here. If students didn’t come to school for three months, I wouldn’t have anyone to teach English to and I would get bored!
