　Last Thursday was Thanksgiving in America. Thanksgiving is a holiday in which people get together to celebrate and to be thankful for their family and for all the good things that they have. It is a very important family holiday in the USA and people will often travel a very long way to see their families. Then everyone will eat a very big meal together. Usually, people eat turkey for dinner on thanksgiving. It’s very delicious.
Unfortunately, I am always busy on Thanksgiving because I live in Japan, so I haven’t been able to go home for Thanksgiving in many years. So I often miss my family and the turkey dinner on Thanksgiving. However, I can usually see my family and eat turkey on Christmas, so I’m usually not sad.
