　Happy New Year! I hope that everybody had a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Christmas and New Years Day are two holidays that are very close together, but they are celebrated differently in America and Japan. In Japan, people celebrate with their friends on Christmas and with their family on New Years. In America it is the opposite. People in America celebrate with their family on Christmas and with their friends on New Years. The two holidays are switched in America and Japan. I think that is very interesting.
