学校行事
運動場では、子どもたちが走ったり、踊ったり、声をかけ合ったりしながら、練習に取り組んでいます。
写真は、５・6年生のリレー練習の様子です。最高学年として、仲間とバトンをつなぎながら、一生懸命取り組む姿が見られました。
今朝の児童朝会では、子どもたちに「今年は、みんなでつくる運動会にしよう」と話しました。
今年は、湯里小学校創立50周年の記念の運動会です。
子どもたちの競技はもちろん、「綱引き」、世界へとつながる大空に向かって風船を飛ばす「バルーンリリース」、そしてフィナーレの「みんなでおどろう」など、保護者・地域の皆様にも一緒に参加していただける取組を予定しています。
「小さな学校 大きなつながり」
子どもたちが架け橋となり、保護者・地域の皆様と一緒に、笑顔とつながりが運動場いっぱいに広がる運動会にしたいと思っています。
明日、運動会へのご参加・ご協力についてのお手紙も配付する予定です。
また、この日は、学校選択制に向けた「学校公開日」にもなっています。
これから入学を検討されている皆様にも、運動会を通して、子どもたちの生き生きとした姿や、湯里小学校の雰囲気を実際に感じていただければと思います。

To Our Friends at CLC
At Yuzato Elementary School, our children are now practicing hard for our Sports Day on October 17.
This year’s Sports Day is very special because we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of our school. In addition to races and performances, we are planning a tug-of-war with families and members of our local community, a “Balloon Release” into the wide sky that connects us to the world, and a finale where everyone dances together.
Our theme is:
“A Small School, Big Connections”
We hope our children will become bridges connecting people and create this special Sports Day together.
And of course, our “Big Connections” include our wonderful friends at CLC in Kenya.
Though we are far apart, we are under the same sky. We hope you can feel the energy and excitement of the children at Yuzato as they prepare for this special day.
