　School was cancelled today because of strong winds and storms. This is very interesting to me because this does not happen where I come from. I think it is because there are no typhoons where I live. Instead we have tornadoes. They are much smaller than typhoons, but they can be very dangerous because they have very fast winds. They don’t cancel school though because tornadoes appear very suddenly and don’t last very long. But they can do a lot of damage. Look at the picture above. It is two pictures of the same place. The top picture is before a tornado, and the bottom picture is after the tornado. Tornadoes are scary!
