Kenya and Japan: Connected Through Learning — Online Exchange with CLC―
Today, we had a wonderful online exchange with everyone at Calvary Learning Centre (CLC) in Kenya.
The CLC students taught us many things about Kenyan school life, culture, nature, and the environment. Our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students enjoyed listening, asking questions, and even singing together.
Although Kenya and Japan are far apart, today’s exchange made us feel much closer.
And this is only the beginning!
Next time, our 6th grade students will share what they are learning about the environment, Wangari Maathai, and the Japanese idea of “Mottainai.”
We look forward to continuing to learn from each other and deepening the friendship between our children in Kenya and Japan.
Thank you very much, everyone at CLC.
We look forward to seeing you again!
