今日の5時間目、1年生を対象に「歯と口の健康教室」を実施しました。講師として、本校の学校歯科医である土橋先生をお招きし、一生使い続ける大切な歯の健康を守るための知識を教えていただきました。

先生は、中学生にも分かりやすいよう、スライドや動画を交えてお話しくださいました。

今回の教室で学んだことを活かし、日々の丁寧なブラッシングと規則正しい生活習慣を心がけ、健康な歯を保っていってほしいと思います。

本日、1年生の体育の授業では、男子はグラウンド、女子は体育館に分かれて、それぞれの種目に熱心に取り組みました。

グラウンドでは、持久力を測定する「シャトルラン」を行いました。一定のリズムに合わせて往復する過酷な種目ですが、生徒たちは歯を食いしばり、自分の限界に挑戦していました。走り続ける仲間に向かって、「頑張れ！」「あと一回！」と自然に声援が送られる温かい光景も見られ、仲間との絆も感じられました。

一方、体育館ではバレーボールの授業が行われました。ボールの捉え方や腕の形など、先生からの丁寧な指導を受けながら、アンダーハンドパスの練習に励んでいました。最初は思うようにボールが飛ばず苦戦する姿もありましたが、練習を重ねるうちにラリーが続くようになり、生徒たちの表情には笑みがこぼれていました。

1年生も残りわずか。体育の授業を通じて体力を高めるだけでなく、仲間と協力し、励まし合う心をこれからも大切にしていってほしいと思います。

本日、「学力向上支援事業」の一環として、スクールアドバイザーの先生にお越しいただきました。

アドバイザーの先生には、実際の授業を参観していただき、生徒たちの表情や反応、教員の問いかけのタイミングなど、細かな点まで見ていただきました。

主体的・対話的な学び: 生徒が自ら考え、意見を交流させるための仕掛け作り。ICTの有効活用: デジタル端末をどのように思考の整理に繋げるか。個に応じた支援: 一人ひとりの習熟度に合わせたきめ細やかな声かけ。

アドバイザーの先生からの「生徒たちが非常に前向きに取り組んでいる」という励ましのお言葉とともに、さらなる改善点も明確になりました。

昨日、放課後の時間を活用して「元気アップ事業(放課後学習支援)」が行われました。

放課後のちょっとした時間を活かして、生徒が図書室に集まりました。自分の課題に黙々と取り組む姿、分からない箇所を質問する姿など、そこには教室とはまた違った、自律した学びの時間が流れていました。

昨日の放課後、校舎内に響き渡っていたのは、吹奏楽部の奏でる力強い音色でした。チャレンジテストが終わり、部員たちが練習に打ち込んでいました。

吹奏楽部の皆さんの奏でる音楽は、学校全体を明るく、温かい雰囲気にしてくれます。 毎日コツコツと積み重ねる練習の成果が、美しいメロディーとなって実を結ぶ日を楽しみにしています。

1・2年生を対象に「中学生チャレンジテスト」を実施しています。

このテストは、これまでの学習内容がどのくらい身についているかを確認し、自分自身の得意分野や課題を知るための大切な調査です。

昼休み、校内に流れる音楽やアナウンス。

これらはすべて、放送室で活動する放送部員たちの手によって届けられています。

昨日、3年生は2日間にわたる実力テストの最終日を迎えました。

いよいよ入試本番が目前に迫る中、一問一問に全精力を注ぐ3年生の教室には、これまでにない張り詰めた空気が漂っていました。

2年生の技術科の授業では、「SCRATCH(スクラッチ)」を用いたプログラミング学習に取り組んでいました。

SCRATCHは、視覚的にブロックを組み合わせることでプログラムを作成できるツールです。子どもたちは、自分のイメージ通りにキャラクターを動かしたり、音を鳴らしたり、試行錯誤しながら課題に取り組んでいます。

デジタル化が進む社会において、プログラミングの仕組みを理解し、活用する力は非常に重要です。今回の学習を通じて、ICT機器を「使う」だけでなく、その仕組みを「作る・制御する」楽しさを実感してほしいと願っています。

昨日1月8日(木)、3学期の始業式を挙行しました。

冷え込みの厳しい朝となりましたが、校門では子どもたちの明るい「おはようございます！」という声が響き渡りました。冬休みを終え、元気に登校してくる姿を見て、大変嬉しく感じました。

校内では活気あふれる部活動の様子が見られました。

グラウンドではハンドボール部が、体育館ではバレーボール部が、それぞれ他校を招いて練習試合を行っていました。

部員たちが必死にボールを追い、声を掛け合いながら粘り強くプレーする姿は、寒さを吹き飛ばすほどの熱気に満ちていました。

試合を通じて見つかった課題を今後の練習に活かし、チーム力を高めてほしいと思います。

本日の終業式では、校長先生から全校生徒へ向けて、2学期の振り返りと冬休みの過ごし方について大切なお話がありました。

本日、港警察署の方々を講師にお招きし、全校生徒を対象とした「SNSの安全な利用に関する講話」を実施しました。

私たちの生活に欠かせないツールとなったSNSですが、使い方を一歩間違えると、大きなトラブルや犯罪に巻き込まれる危険性があります。今回は、日々多くの事案に接している警察の方から、直接お話を伺う貴重な機会となりました。

ご家庭でも、この機会にSNSの利用ルールやスマートフォンの使い方について、ぜひ話し合ってみてください。

Today, we invited officers from the Minato Police Station to deliver a lecture on the safe use of social media (SNS) to our entire student body.

While social media has become an indispensable tool in our daily lives, a single mistake in its use can lead to serious trouble or the risk of becoming involved in criminal activity. This was a valuable opportunity for us to hear directly from the police officers who handle such cases on a daily basis.

本日、2学期の締めくくりとして全校一斉に大清掃を行いました。

毎日過ごした教室や廊下、特別教室など、お世話になった学び舎に感謝の気持ちを込めて、生徒・教職員全員で隅々まで清掃に取り組みました。

普段の清掃時間ではなかなか手が回らない箇所を中心に、時間をかけて丁寧に行いました。

清掃を終えた後の校内は、空気まで澄み渡ったようにパッと明るくなりました。

本日、今年度最後となるSC活動(スクールクリーン活動)を実施しました。

SC活動は、自分たちが日頃お世話になっている地域社会への感謝を込めて、有志の生徒を中心に行っている清掃活動です。

今回は「年内最後」ということもあり、いつも以上に熱の入った活動となりました。

本校PTAチームが素晴らしいチームワークと熱戦を繰り広げ、見事優勝に輝きました！

先週開催されたPTA実行委員会の冒頭で、改めて表彰が行われました。

この勢いそのままに、今後もPTA活動を通じて、保護者の皆様同士の親睦をさらに深めていければ幸いです。

On Sunday, December 7th, the Minato Ward PTA Friendship Badminton Tournament was held at the Minato Sports Center.

Our school's PTA team displayed outstanding teamwork throughout their intense matches and brilliantly secured the championship!

At the beginning of last week's PTA Executive Committee meeting, a formal commendation was held once again to celebrate their victory.

本日、地震・津波を想定した避難訓練を実施しました。皆さん一人ひとりが率先避難者になることが重要です。

1. リスクの把握: 自宅や学校周辺の津波浸水リスクや、想定震度6弱の被害を知る。

2. 安全な環境: 家具を固定するなど、地震で死なない家・部屋にする。

3. 避難先の確認: 津波到達予測時間は114分です。津波の高さは3m超と想定されており、丈夫な建物の3階以上へ逃げる場所を「大阪防災アプリ」などで確認しておく。

4. 即座の行動: 「自分は大丈夫」という正常性バイアスを避け、空振りを恐れず、揺れを感じたらすぐに逃げる。津波は数十センチでも非常に危険。

今日の訓練をきっかけに、家族で命を守る準備を進め、自らの命を守り、そして他者を助けられる人になりましょう。

We conducted an earthquake and tsunami evacuation drill today. It is crucial for each and every one of you to become a proactive evacuator.

1. Understand the Risks: Know the tsunami inundation risk in your neighborhood and around the school and the anticipated damage from a seismic intensity of 6- Lower.

2. Create a Safe Environment: Make your house and room a place where you won't die in an earthquake, for example, by securing furniture.

3. Confirm Evacuation Locations: The tsunami is predicted to arrive in 114 minutes. The tsunami height is anticipated to exceed 3m , so you must evacuate to the 3rd floor or higher of a secure building. Use the "Osaka Disaster Prevention App" to check evacuation sites.

4. Act Immediately: Avoid the "Normalcy Bias" of thinking "I will be fine" and do not fear a false alarm. Evacuate immediately if you feel shaking. Even a tsunami of just a few tens of centimeters is extremely dangerous.

Use today's drill as an opportunity to move forward with preparations to save lives with your family, so you can protect your own life and help others.

本日1時限目、1年生はこれまで取り組んできた「みおつくしチャレンジ」の最終活動を実施しました。生徒たちは、自ら設定した課題に対する探究活動の成果をまとめたプレゼンテーション資料を完成させました。この「みおつくしチャレンジ」は、高校での学びの柱となる探究的な学習の重要性を理解し、実践することを目的としています。

近年、「探究」が教育の核として重視される背景には、激変する社会への対応力育成という大きな目的があります。探究的な学習は、単に受け身で知識を覚える受動的な知識習得から脱却し、生徒が自ら課題を見つけ、考え、行動し、新しい価値を創造できる人材を育成するために不可欠です。

また、大学入試のあり方も大きく変化しています。入試は、単なる「知識量の測定」から、「高校での学びを通じて、社会で活躍するための資質・能力をどれだけ身につけたか」を多角的に測定する形へと変化しています。

「みおつくしチャレンジ」で培った、思考力、判断力、表現力、そして仲間との協働性は、まさに新しい時代の大学入試、そしてその先の社会で求められる「生きる力」そのものです。

In the first class period today, the first-year students conducted the final activity for the "Miotsukushi Challenge" they have been working on. The students completed presentation materials summarizing the results of their research activities for the self-selected challenges they had set. The aim of this "Miotsukushi Challenge" is for students to understand and practice the importance of inquiry-based learning, which forms a pillar of their studies in high school.

The background to the recent emphasis on "inquiry" as a core component of education lies in the major objective of fostering adaptability to a rapidly changing society. Inquiry-based learning is essential for moving away from passive knowledge acquisition—merely receiving and memorizing information—and developing individuals who can independently identify issues, think, act, and create new value.

Furthermore, the nature of university entrance examinations is also changing significantly. Entrance exams are shifting from being a simple "measurement of knowledge quantity" to a method of multifaceted assessment that measures "how many qualities and competencies essential for success in society students have acquired through their high school studies."

The thinking skills, judgment, expressiveness, and collaboration with peers cultivated through the "Miotsukushi Challenge" are precisely the "power to live" required for the new era of university entrance examinations and, beyond that, in society itself.

先日の土曜日、港区民センターで開催された「みなとこころの講座」にて、吹奏楽部が演奏を披露しました。この演奏は、3年生が引退してから初めての舞台であり、現役部員にとっては非常に緊張する場となりましたが、貴重な経験を得ることができました。

The brass band performed at the "Minato Kokoro no Kouza" (Minato Heart Seminar/Workshop) held at the Minato Ward Citizen's Center last Saturday. This performance was the band's first stage appearance since the third-year students retired, and although it was a very nervous occasion for the current members, they gained valuable experience.
