☆コンポート☆

　「コンポート」は、ヨーロッパの伝統的な、果物の保存食です。フランス語で「果物のシロップ煮」という意味があります。今日の給食では、水と砂糖・酢で作ったシロップでりんごを煮て作った、「りんごのコンポート」が出ます。

☆Compote☆

"Compote" is a traditional European fruit preserve. The French word literally means "fruit stewed in syrup." For today's school lunch, we are serving apple compote, made by simmering apples in a syrup prepared from water, sugar, and vinegar.
