1年生は6限目に「みおつくしチャレンジ」を実施しました。先月の企業への中間報告で得たフィードバックや指摘をもとに、さらなる議論を行い、次の発表に向けたプレゼンテーション資料を作成しました。

The first-year students carried out the "Mio Tsukushi Challenge" during the sixth period. Based on the feedback and suggestions received from the interim report given to various companies last month, they held further discussions and created presentation materials for their next announcement.

11/14（金）に１年生は神戸に校外学習へ行ってきました。
自分たちで行程を決め、各施設をまわっていきました。班で協力し、すべての班が時間通りに行動することができていました。

先週の1年生の体育の授業では、男女で異なる種目に取り組みました。
女子はバスケットボールで、パスやシュートの練習に熱中していました。一方、男子は長距離走で持久力を高めた後、続けてサッカーで汗を流しました。
寒さに負けず、どの生徒も体を動かすことの楽しさを感じながら、元気に活動していました。様々な種目に挑戦することで、体力向上とチームワークを育んでいます。

In the 1st year P.E. class last week, students engaged in different sports based on gender.
The girls were engrossed in basketball, practicing passing and shooting skills. Meanwhile, the boys first built their endurance through long-distance running, and then worked up a sweat playing soccer.
Undeterred by the cold, all students actively participated, enjoying the physical activity. By taking on various sports, they are working on improving their physical fitness and fostering teamwork.

1年生は今月実施する校外学習に向けた事前学習を行いました。
訪問先について、資料や先生の話を通して学びました。
生徒たちは、班で相談したりしながら、当日の活動を具体的にイメージしている様子でした。
この学習を通して、本番でも多くの学びと発見があることを期待しています！

The 1st-year students held a pre-training session today for the Field Trip scheduled for this month.
Through materials and teacher explanations, students learned about the destination, its history, and key points of interest. Students were seen consulting within their groups, clearly visualizing and planning the day's activities.
We look forward to a day filled with great learning and discoveries for them during the actual trip!

採用1年目の先生による授業公開(社会)が行われました。この授業は、日々の実践をより充実させるために実施されたものです。総合教育センターより吉村指導主事をお招きし、指導助言をいただきました。

A public lesson (Social Studies) was conducted by a first-year teacher. This lesson was held to further enhance the teacher's daily instructional practice. We welcomed Chief Instructor (or Supervisor) Yoshimura from the General Education Center, who provided guidance and advice.

本日、中学1年生たちは、9つの企業と連携した探究学習に熱心に取り組んでいます。
この学習の目的は、実社会の課題を解決する力を育むことです。生徒たちは、各企業から具体的なミッションを受け取り、実践的な課題解決に挑戦しています。
活動内容は多岐にわたり、例えば以下のようなテーマで進められています。
新商品の企画: 市場のニーズを捉えた斬新なアイデアを検討
集客イベントの立案: 人々の関心を引きつけるユニークな企画を考案
企業(商品・サービス)の魅力発信: より多くの人に知ってもらうための効果的な方法を模索
生徒たちは今後、企業の方々から直接フィードバックを受けながら、社会で実際に求められる「工夫」や「視点」の重要性を肌で感じることになります。
教科書にはない「生きた学び」を通して、社会の仕組みや仕事の難しさ、そして面白さを体験する貴重な機会となることを期待しています。

7th Graders Take on "Inquiry-Based Learning" in Partnership with 9 Companies!
Today, our 7th-grade students are actively engaged in inquiry-based learning in collaboration with nine different companies.
The goal of this program is to foster students' ability to solve real-world problems. Each student group has received a concrete mission from a partnering company and is now tackling a practical challenge.
Their activities cover a wide range of themes, including:
New Product Planning: Considering innovative ideas that capture market needs.
Event Planning for Customer Attraction: Devising unique projects to draw people's interest.
Promoting Corporate Appeal (Products/Services): Searching for effective ways to inform a wider audience.
Moving forward, the students will receive direct feedback from company representatives. This process will allow them to gain a first-hand understanding of the importance of "ingenuity" and "perspective" required in the working world.
We anticipate this will be an invaluable opportunity for them to experience the complexity and fascination of how society and business operate, providing a "living education" beyond the classroom.

「みおつくし探求チャレンジ」は、大阪市総合教育センターが主導し、OEN (Osaka city Education Network) に登録している企業や大学など外部の専門的知見を持つ団体と連携して進めている、探究的な学びを推進する取り組みです。
これにより、子どもたちは実社会や専門分野に触れる機会を得て、より深く、主体的に課題を探究し解決する力を育むことを目指しています。

The "Mio-Tsukushi Inquiry Challenge" is an initiative led by the Osaka City General Education Center in collaboration with external organizations with specialized expertise, such as companies and universities registered in the OEN (Osaka city Education Network), to promote inquiry-based learning.
The aim is to provide children with opportunities to engage with real society and professional fields, thereby nurturing their ability to conduct deeper, more self-directed inquiry into challenges and develop solutions.

1年生の舞台発表では、クラス合唱が行われました。
中学校に入学して初めての大きな舞台で、1年生の3クラスはそれぞれ異なる曲を選び、3部合唱に挑戦しました。披露された課題曲は、1組が「カリブ 夢の旅」、2組が「マイバラード」、そして3組が「Believe」です。「曲も声も違うけれど、届けたい気持ちはひとつ」という目標のもと、各クラスが指揮者、伴奏者とともに熱心に練習を重ねてきました。緊張感のなかにも、心を重ねた歌声が体育館いっぱいに響き渡り、初々しくも力強いハーモニーで聴衆を魅了しました。

The first-year students' stage performance featured a class chorus competition.
For their first big stage since entering junior high school, the three first-year classes each selected a different song and took on the challenge of a three-part chorus. The assigned pieces performed were "Karibu Yume no Tabi" by Class 1, "My Ballad" by Class 2, and "Believe" by Class 3. Guided by the goal that "Even if our voices and songs are different, our desire to deliver our feelings is one," each class diligently practiced with their conductors and accompanists. Despite the palpable tension, their heartfelt voices resonated throughout the gymnasium, captivating the audience with a fresh yet powerful harmony.

放課後の教室に絵の具の匂いが広がる中、1年生たちが大きな布を囲んで学級旗を制作しています。
そこにはクラスのスローガンや個性豊かなイラストが描かれています。
筆跡は拙いものの、そこには間違いなく、クラスの団結心が込められています。

In the after-school classroom, the smell of paint fills the air as first-year students gather around a large cloth, making their class flag.
The flag features their class slogan and unique illustrations. Although the brushwork is a bit clumsy,
it's clear the flag embodies their class spirit and unity.

担当教員が、助走の仕方や踏切りのタイミングを丁寧に教えてくれています。
クリアできた時、不安は達成感に変わり、笑みがこぼれてきます。
そうなると、次の挑戦が楽しみですね！

The teacher in charge carefully teaches you how to run and the timing of the level crossing.
When you can clear it, anxiety turns into a sense of accomplishment, and smiles spill out.
If that happens, I'm looking forward to the next challenge!

理科の授業で、混合物と純物質について学んでいます。先生が「海水は純物質？」と質問すると、みんなは少し考え込んでしまいました。海水のように、いくつかの物質が混ざり合っているものを混合物と言います。逆に、混じりけのない一つの物質でできているものを純物質といいます。私たちの身の回りには、混合物と純物質がたくさん！みんなも探してみてね。

In our science class, we're learning about mixtures and pure substances. When our teacher asked, 'Is seawater a pure substance?', everyone had to think for a moment. Things like seawater, where several substances are mixed together, are called mixtures. On the other hand, things made of just one substance with nothing else mixed in are called pure substances. There are so many mixtures and pure substances all around us! Why don't you try to find some too?

2学期から使えるように、勉強している横でも教員たちが保管庫のセッティングをしています。

1年生の教室には、夏休み終盤の静かな熱気が満ちています。1年生の小さな背中が、宿題のプリントや問題集に向き合っています。わからない問題があれば、そっと先生に尋ねたり、隣の友達と顔を見合わせたり。時折聞こえる鉛筆の音と、小さな笑い声が、やわらかな夏の光に溶けています。

The quiet warmth of late summer fills the first-grade classroom. Little first-graders' backs are hunched over homework packets and workbooks. If they don't understand a problem, they quietly ask the teacher or exchange glances with the friend next to them. The occasional sound of pencils scratching and small laughs melt into the gentle summer light.

蒸し暑い4時限目、プールの水が静かに揺れていました。
努力を続けて、泳ぎが上達してきている生徒もいます。指先がゴールに触れた瞬間、水面に小さな歓びが弾けたようでした。

In the hot and humid 4th period, the water in the pool was shaking quietly.
Some students continue to make efforts and improve their swimming skills. The moment the fingertips touched the goal, a small joy seemed to pop on the surface of the water.
