学生会选举之晨／初三年级集会：越是觉得"不能输"的时候，越要面对自己
今天是学生会选举的日子。在这一天，学校将举行竞选演说会和投票。早上到校时间，候选人们在底层架空大厅里排成一列，向同学们做了最后的问候。
他们双手举着亲手制作的牌子，向每一位到校的同学打招呼，从中能感受到他们对这一天的用心。也有同学停下脚步，认真看着牌子上的内容。一大早，选举的气氛就在校园里渐渐弥漫开来。
随后，初三年级举行了年级集会。首先，老师针对即将到来的期中考试和实力测试，谈了谈在觉得"不能输"的时候应该怎样调整心态。
老师分享说，自己在学生时代曾立志成为一名新闻记者，多次参加报社的招聘考试，但最终没能实现这个梦想。那时也曾羡慕过实现了梦想的朋友，但如今回头看，老师觉得重要的不是和别人比较，而是想清楚"自己究竟想做什么"，以及"自己能不能真正接受"。即使事情不如意、即使遭遇失败，也希望大家先从眼下自己能做的事情做起。这是老师想传达给大家的话。
之后，负责老师就升学相关材料的提交、接下来的学校活动，以及为运动会进行的年级练习等事项做了通知。流感也已经开始流行了。希望大家注意身体，一步一个脚印地做好眼前的每一件事。

Student Council Election Morning / Year 9 Assembly: Facing Yourself When You Feel You "Can't Afford to Lose"
Today is Student Council Election day, with the candidates' speeches and the vote both taking place. As pupils arrived at school this morning, the candidates lined up in the pilotis hall to give their final greetings.
Holding up handmade signs, they called out to each pupil coming through the entrance, and it was clear how much this day meant to them. Some pupils paused to read the signs, and from early morning the election atmosphere spread quietly through the school.
Later, Year 9 held a year group assembly. To begin, a teacher spoke about how to approach moments when you feel you "can't afford to lose", with the mid-term exams and achievement tests coming up.
The teacher shared that, as a student, they had hoped to become a newspaper journalist and sat recruitment exams at newspaper companies several times, but that dream never came true. At the time, they sometimes envied friends who had achieved their goals. Looking back, though, what matters, they said, is not comparing yourself with others, but asking yourself "what do I actually want to do?" and "can I feel satisfied with this myself?" Even when things don't go to plan, or you fail, the message was to start by working on what you can do right now.
After that, the teachers in charge gave notices about careers-related paperwork, upcoming school events, and year group practice for Sports Day. Flu is also starting to go around. Let's look after our health and take things one step at a time.
