さて、この度、先日行われました体育大会において、やむを得ない事情により出場を見送りました2年生のみを対象とした体育大会を、下記のとおり実施することとなりました。生徒たちが日頃の練習の成果を発揮し、仲間と協力して体育大会をやり遂げる貴重な機会となります。つきましては、お忙しいところ恐縮ですが、保護者の皆様におかれましても、生徒たちへの温かいご声援をいただけますようお願い申しあげます。

We are writing to inform you that we will be holding a special Sports Day (Athletic Meet) for the 2nd-year students who, due to unavoidable circumstances, were unable to participate in the recent Sports Day. This event will be held as detailed below. This is a valuable opportunity for the students to demonstrate the results of their daily practice and to complete the Sports Day in cooperation with their classmates.
We apologize for the inconvenience to your busy schedule, but we kindly ask all parents/guardians to attend and offer your warm encouragement and cheers to the students.

昨日の体育大会は、午後の部も熱気に包まれ、大いに盛り上がりました。
吹奏楽部の演奏に合わせ、部活動リレーに出場する選手の入場に始まり、ユニフォームや道具を身につけた各部活動の代表が、会場を沸かせました。それぞれの部活の個性があふれる、楽しいレースでした。
その後に続く各リレー種目でも、走者がチームでバトンをつなぎ、戦略とチームワークが光る、見応えのあるレース展開となりました。
競技を全て終えた後の閉会式では、生徒たちは皆、全力を出し切ったすがすがしい顔をしていました。勝ち負けに関わらず、仲間と協力し、互いをリスペクトし、目標に向かって一つになった達成感が、体育大会の成功を物語っていました。
この日は、多数の保護者の皆様、そしてご来賓の方々が、子どもたちへの温かい応援のために会場までお運びくださいました。皆様の温かいご声援が、生徒たちの大きなエネルギーとなりました。心より感謝申しあげます。

Yesterday's Sports Day was filled with excitement, and the afternoon session was no exception, bringing a surge of enthusiasm and energy.
The afternoon kicked off with the entrance of the athletes for the Club Activities Relay, accompanied by a lively performance from the brass band.
Representatives from each school club, wearing their uniforms or holding their equipment, electrified the venue. It was a delightful race that showcased the unique personality of every club.
In the subsequent various relay events, runners strategically passed the baton as a team, making for thrilling races that highlighted excellent teamwork and strategy.
At the closing ceremony, after all the events were finished, the students all had a refreshed and invigorated look on their faces, having given their absolute best. The sense of accomplishment—of cooperating with friends, respecting one another, and uniting towards a common goal, regardless of winning or losing—truly spoke to the success of the Sports Day.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the large number of parents and honored guests who came to the venue to offer their warm support for our children. Your enthusiastic cheers provided enormous energy to the students. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.

本日開催中の体育大会は、午前の部が無事に終了しました。
競技に出場した生徒、熱心に応援する生徒、そして大会運営を支える係の生徒、全員の真剣で清々しい姿勢がグラウンド全体に素晴らしい一体感を生み出しています。
特に午前の部の終盤は、会場の熱気が最高潮に。
1年生による「綱引き」では、力強いかけ声と地面を踏みしめる音が響きわたり、学年が一丸となって勝利を目指す姿に大きな拍手が送られました。そして、3年生の「全員リレー」では、さすがの迫力とスピードでバトンが繋がり、グランドを周回するたびに割れんばかりの歓声が上がり、大いに盛り上がりました。
この後 12時30分 より午後の部を開始いたします。

The morning session of the Sports Day, held today, has concluded successfully.
The earnest and refreshing attitude of all students—those competing in the events, those enthusiastically cheering, and those on the committees supporting the event's operation—is creating a wonderful sense of unity across the entire field.
The excitement reached its peak towards the end of the morning session!
During the 1st-year class event, "Tug-of-War," powerful cheers and the sound of feet stomping the ground resonated, and huge applause was given to the sight of the grade uniting to aim for victory. Following that, the 3rd-year class event, "All-Student Relay," showed impressive power and speed as the baton was passed, drawing thunderous cheers that erupted every time the runners circled the track, making it a huge success.
The afternoon session will begin at 12:30 PM.

本日は1・3年生のみの参加となりますが、予定通り、09:15に開会式を実施します。
2年生の出場が参加がない分、予定より早くプログラムが進んでいくと思われます。そのため、午後のプログラムは早まる予定です。午後の開始時間は、午前のプログラムが終了した時点でご連絡いたします。

To the parents of 1st and 3rd graders,
Good morning. Today, only the 1st and 3rd graders will be participating, but the opening ceremony will be held as scheduled at 9:15 AM. Since the 2nd graders will not be participating, the program is expected to move faster than planned. Therefore, the afternoon program will likely start earlier. We will notify you of the starting time for the afternoon session once the morning program is complete.

本日の午後、生徒たちは明日の体育大会に向けて、会場設営や用具の準備に精力的に取り組みました。
しかしながら、2年生の一部のクラスが学級閉鎖のため、明日の体育大会は1・3年生のみでの実施となります。
2年生については、現時点では11/4日(火)に別途体育大会を実施する予定です。詳細につきましては、改めて連絡いたします。
1・3年生は予定通り実施しますので、生徒の皆さんは体調を整えて準備をお願いします。
2年生の保護者の皆様には、急な変更で大変ご迷惑をおかけしますが、ご理解とご協力をお願い申しあげます。

This afternoon, students enthusiastically worked on setting up the venue and preparing equipment for tomorrow's Sports Day.
However, due to a class closure (or class suspension) in some 2nd-year classes, tomorrow's Sports Day will be held only for 1st and 3rd-year students.
For the 2nd-year students, the Sports Day is currently scheduled to be held separately on Tuesday, November 4th. We will notify you of the details at a later date.
The event for the 1st and 3rd-year students will be held as planned, so we ask all students to take care of their physical condition and be prepared.
To the guardians of 2nd-year students, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this sudden change and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

本日、本校2年4組においてインフルエンザの感染が広がり、学級休業の措置をとることとなりました。つきましては、生徒の健康と安全を最優先に考え、また、これ以上の感染拡大を防ぐため、2年生のすべてのクラスにおいて、体育大会の実施日を延期し、2年生のみ別の日に実施することといたしました。

本校2年4組において、10月28日現在、インフルエンザ様疾患(疑いを含む)による欠席者が数名確認され、今後の出席停止や欠席が増加傾向にあります。

つきましては、2年4組においては、明日10月29日(水)〜10月31日(金)までを学級閉鎖とします。

全国的にもインフルエンザの流行期に入っており、感染拡大を予防するために、学校医の指導をいただいています。また、大阪市教育委員会通知「感染症発生時の臨時休業等の基準」(欠席者15％〜20％)も考慮しています。

なお、臨時休業中は下記の留意事項に十分配慮のうえ、お子様の健康保持に万全を期していただき、感染の拡大の予防に御協力いただきますよう、お願い申しあげます。

インフルエンザ様疾患による臨時休業(学級閉鎖)のお知らせ

去る10月18日(土)・19日(日)の二日間にわたり、大阪市中央公会堂にて「大阪市立中学校総合文化祭」が開催されました。
作品展示部門では、本校生徒の力作が多数展示され、来場者の注目を集めていました。日頃の学習や部活動の成果を多くの方にご覧いただく良い機会となりました。
また、茶道部は、会場内に設けられたお茶席でお点前を披露しました。 参加した私も、美味しいお茶とお菓子をいただきながら、日本の伝統文化に触れる貴重な体験をすることができました。

The Osaka Municipal Junior High School General Culture Festival was held over two days, Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th, at the Osaka Central Public Hall.
In the artwork exhibition division, many outstanding pieces by our school's students were displayed and drew the attention of visitors. It was a wonderful opportunity for many people to see the results of their daily studies and club activities.
Additionally, the Tea Ceremony Club performed the tea ceremony at a tea room set up within the venue. As one of the attendees, I also had the valuable experience of immersing myself in traditional Japanese culture while enjoying delicious tea and confections.

採用1年目の先生による授業公開(社会)が行われました。この授業は、日々の実践をより充実させるために実施されたものです。総合教育センターより吉村指導主事をお招きし、指導助言をいただきました。

A public lesson (Social Studies) was conducted by a first-year teacher. This lesson was held to further enhance the teacher's daily instructional practice. We welcomed Chief Instructor (or Supervisor) Yoshimura from the General Education Center, who provided guidance and advice.

第２回　学校協議会

この度、本校で使用している全生徒向けの学習者用端末(タブレットPC)が、一斉に新しい機種へ入れ替わりました。
今回のリニューアルは、GIGAスクール構想に基づき導入した端末の更新時期に合わせ、「より快適に」「より深く学ぶ」ための環境整備の一環として実施したものです。新しい端末の導入により、生徒一人ひとりの学習活動と、授業のデジタル化をさらに強力に推進してまいります。

We are pleased to announce that all student learning devices (tablet PCs) used at our school have been simultaneously replaced with new models.
This renewal was implemented as part of our efforts to enhance the learning environment, with the goals of achieving "more comfortable" and "deeper learning." This upgrade coincides with the scheduled replacement cycle for the devices originally introduced under the GIGA School Concept.
By introducing these new devices, we will be able to more strongly promote personalized learning activities for each student and further advance the digitalization of our classroom instruction.

本校では、高校2年生のキャリア学習において、経済産業省の補助金事業に採択されたプログラムで採用されている教材「キャリア・ラボ」を導入し、活用しています。
この教材は、生徒たちが自身の興味や価値観、強みなどを深く掘り下げて考える自己理解を促し、将来の進路を具体的にイメージするための構成となっています。

Our school has adopted and is actively utilizing the educational material "Career Labo" for our 10th-grade (2nd-year high school) career education program. This material is part of a program selected under a subsidy project by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
The "Career Labo" curriculum is designed to facilitate self-understanding, encouraging students to deeply explore their own interests, values, and strengths. It provides a clear framework for them to concretely envision their future career paths.

高校入試に向けて重要なこの時期の実力テスト。朝から緊張感あふれる表情で登校した3年生たちですが、教室では真剣な眼差しで問題用紙に向き合っています。
これまでの努力の成果を出し切るべく、一問一問を大切に取り組む姿は頼もしい限りです。休憩時間には友達と教え合う姿も見られ、互いに刺激し合って高め合っています。
実力テストは「今の自分」を知る大切な機会。結果に一喜一憂せず、課題を見つけて次のステップへ繋げていきましょう。
3年生、ファイト！

Third-year students are taking the achievement test, which is crucial as the high school entrance exam approaches. They came to school this morning with nervous looks, but are now confronting the test papers in the classroom with serious concentration.
Their determined focus on each question, striving to deliver the results of their efforts so far, is truly encouraging. During breaks, they can be seen teaching one another, mutually inspiring and pushing each other to excel.
The achievement test is a valuable opportunity to understand "where they stand now." We encourage them not to get overly caught up in the results, but to identify their challenges and use them to guide their next steps.
Third-year students, let's do this!

家庭科の授業で学んだ「家庭内事故の予防」や「バリアフリー」「ユニバーサルデザイン(UD)」の考え方を、ぜひご自宅で活かしてみてください。家庭内事故の予防は、ご家族への大切な思いやりです。

We have studied the concepts of 'home accident prevention,' 'barrier-free design,' and 'Universal Design (UD)' in Home Economics class. Please try applying the knowledge you gained to your own home. Preventing home accidents is a meaningful way to show care and consideration for your family.

先週の水曜日と木曜日に実施された中間テスト。皆さん、全力を出し切れたでしょうか？
週が明け、そろそろ結果が返却され始めている頃かと思います。テストは、自分がどこまで理解できているかを確認する良い機会です。結果に一喜一憂するだけでなく、間違えたところをしっかり見直して、今後の学習に活かしていきましょう！
次なるステップに向けて、引き続き頑張っていきましょう！

The mid-term exams were held last week on Wednesday and Thursday. We hope everyone gave it their all!
The week has started, and results should be starting to be handed back soon. Tests are a great opportunity to check how well you understand the material. Instead of simply being up and down about the results, be sure to review what you got wrong and use that to guide your future studies!

これは先週の中間テスト前の様子です。図書室では、放課後やテスト前を利用した学習支援を実施しています。元気アップコーディネーターが熱心に指導にあたり、わからない問題を質問したり、友達と教えあったりしながら、集中して学習に取り組む生徒たちの姿が見られました。「元気アップ事業」は、今後も継続して生徒たちの「わかる！」「できる！」を応援していきます！

This is what the library looked like last week before the mid-term exams. Learning support was provided during after-school hours and before the exams. The Genki-Up Coordinators were dedicatedly offering guidance, and students were observed focusing intently on their studies—asking questions about difficult problems and helping each other. The "Genki-Up Project" will continue to support students in achieving the feeling of "I get it!" and "I can do it!"

先日、2年生が職場体験学習に向けて、事業所に出向くための事前学習を実施しました。
これらの体験で得られる経験は、今後の学校生活や進路選択に必ず活きてくるはずです。生徒一人ひとりが、感謝の気持ちと、学校の代表としての責任感を持って、実りある体験にしてくれることを期待しています。

Recently, our second-year students conducted preliminary study sessions in preparation for visiting their workplaces for the work experience program.
The experiences gained from these placements are sure to be valuable assets for their future school life and career choices. We expect each and every student to approach this opportunity with a deep sense of gratitude, a feeling of responsibility as representatives of our school, and to make it a truly rewarding experience!

本日、中学1年生たちは、9つの企業と連携した探究学習に熱心に取り組んでいます。
この学習の目的は、実社会の課題を解決する力を育むことです。生徒たちは、各企業から具体的なミッションを受け取り、実践的な課題解決に挑戦しています。
活動内容は多岐にわたり、例えば以下のようなテーマで進められています。
新商品の企画: 市場のニーズを捉えた斬新なアイデアを検討
集客イベントの立案: 人々の関心を引きつけるユニークな企画を考案
企業(商品・サービス)の魅力発信: より多くの人に知ってもらうための効果的な方法を模索
生徒たちは今後、企業の方々から直接フィードバックを受けながら、社会で実際に求められる「工夫」や「視点」の重要性を肌で感じることになります。
教科書にはない「生きた学び」を通して、社会の仕組みや仕事の難しさ、そして面白さを体験する貴重な機会となることを期待しています。

7th Graders Take on "Inquiry-Based Learning" in Partnership with 9 Companies!
Today, our 7th-grade students are actively engaged in inquiry-based learning in collaboration with nine different companies.
The goal of this program is to foster students' ability to solve real-world problems. Each student group has received a concrete mission from a partnering company and is now tackling a practical challenge.
Their activities cover a wide range of themes, including:
New Product Planning: Considering innovative ideas that capture market needs.
Event Planning for Customer Attraction: Devising unique projects to draw people's interest.
Promoting Corporate Appeal (Products/Services): Searching for effective ways to inform a wider audience.
Moving forward, the students will receive direct feedback from company representatives. This process will allow them to gain a first-hand understanding of the importance of "ingenuity" and "perspective" required in the working world.
We anticipate this will be an invaluable opportunity for them to experience the complexity and fascination of how society and business operate, providing a "living education" beyond the classroom.

昨日行われた2年生の理科の研究授業は、「鉄と硫黄の混合物を加熱したときの変化」がテーマでした。
生徒たちの前にはガスバーナーや試験管などの実験器具が並びました。先生が実験手順と器具の正しい使い方をテキパキと分かりやすく説明すると、生徒たちの目は真剣そのもの。
硫化鉄という新しい物質が生まれる化学変化を自らの手で確かめる過程を通じて、生徒たちは単に知識を学ぶだけでなく、科学への深い興味と探求心を育みました。それは、活気にあふれた授業の一コマでした。

The theme of the 2nd-year science research lesson held yesterday was "The Change When a Mixture of Iron and Sulfur is Heated."
Experimental equipment, such as gas burners and test tubes, was laid out before the students. As the teacher clearly and efficiently explained the experiment procedures and the correct use of the equipment, the students' eyes were fixed with concentration.
Through the process of confirming the chemical change that creates the new substance, iron sulfide, with their own hands, the students not only acquired knowledge but also developed a deep interest and spirit of inquiry in science. It was a vibrant moment in the lesson.
