☆春雨☆

　春雨は、じゃがいもやさつまいものでんぷんから作られた麵状の食べ物です。中国で昔から食べられている緑豆のでんぷんから作られたものが原形といわれています。ゆでると透き通った細い糸のようになります。その様子が、春に降る雨に似ていることから「春雨（はるさめ）」という名前がついたといわれています。

☆Vermicelli☆

Vermicelli is a noodle-like food made from potato or sweet potato starch. It is said that the original form was made from mung bean starch, which has been eaten in China since ancient times. When boiled, it becomes like thin, transparent threads. It is said that the name "harusame" (spring rain) comes from the fact that it resembles the rain that falls in spring.
