[IMPORTANT] Temporary School Closure During Severe Weather/Disasters
Typhoon No. 15 may approach the Kinki region from the afternoon of September 4 through September 5. To prioritize student safety, the school will implement a temporary closure (no school) if any of the following criteria are met.
If a relevant warning is in effect at 7:00 a.m., or if one is issued/occurs between 7:00 a.m. and the start of school.
1 When an Emergency Warning is issued for Osaka City
※ Any type of Emergency Warning results in closure.
2 When a Storm Warning is issued for Osaka City
※ Closure applies only to a Storm Warning. A “Heavy Rain Warning” or “Strong Wind Advisory,” etc., is not included.
3 When Osaka City issues Alert Level 3 or Alert Level 4 (e.g., for river flooding) for any area within Kita Ward
※ Notices labeled “equivalent to Alert Level 3” (相当) are city-wide reference information by the JMA. Please confirm Osaka City’s official, area-specific announcement (without “equivalent”).
4 When both Osaka Metro (including the New Tram) and the JR Osaka Loop Line are suspended on all lines as of 7:00 a.m.
