Following the Year 8 and Year 9 excursions, our Year 7 students are heading to the Osaka–Kansai Expo today.
When Year 9 visited it was extremely hot, but today is comparatively cool—truly perfect Expo weather.
The main Year 7 group departed at 8:30 a.m., followed by three wheelchair users at 9:10 a.m..
According to the Vice Principal leading the trip, the Sakaisuji Line from Minami-Morimachi was relatively comfortable, while the Chūō Line was quite crowded. We will proceed with safety first, taking regular water breaks during the visit.
For many students this is their first Expo, and we’re excited to see what discoveries they make!
