On Friday, November 21, the 3rd-year students attended an arts appreciation program at Umeda Arts Theater to see the stage play “Chi.”
“Chi.” is a story about people who continue to question how to live while grappling with the idea of the heliocentric theory, and the play is based on a popular manga.
While preserving the unique world of the original work, the stage production used lighting, music, and powerful dialogue to bring the story to life.
Through the strong performances and expressions of the cast, the inner conflicts and determination of each character were clearly conveyed.
Although the performance lasted for three hours, the students were drawn into the story and many felt that the time passed quickly.
For many of them, this was their first time watching a live stage performance, making it a valuable opportunity to experience a form of expression that cannot be found in the classroom.
We hope that the questions raised by the characters’ ways of life, and the inspiration gained through this arts appreciation program, will be reflected in their future school life.
From Tuesday, the final exams will begin.
We encourage all 3rd-year students to prepare well so they can fully demonstrate what they have learned so far.
