Year 9 visited the Osaka–Kansai Expo for an off-campus learning day.
In true Year 9 fashion, each group used meet-on-site and dismiss-on-site procedures.
There were a few small hiccups—one or two groups waited at the wrong meeting spot—but almost everyone kept to time.
From a quick student survey, about three out of four said this was their first Expo.
It was extremely hot, and it was very crowded.
Some groups followed a pre-planned route, while others dove into whatever had the shorter queue on the day—both approaches had their charm.
Everyone made it into the Healthcare Pavilion. A hands-on space for prevention and future care, with interactive exhibits and short theatre experiences.
Students explored how the body works, watched first-aid demos, and tried near-future clinic simulations—an invitation to make health their own.
We do not know when the next Expo will come to Japan, but we hope today becomes a special memory for every student.
