2nd Grade Assembly Report (Preparing for Work Experience)
Morning Greetings
This morning, girls from the Life Committee and the Student Council offered cheerful greetings.
It’s getting colder by the day, but their bright “good mornings” lifted everyone’s spirits.
2nd Grade Assembly (Thursday)
After the Music Presentation two weeks ago and last week’s grade-level closure, we held our first assembly in a while.
The grade teacher spoke about preparations for the work experience program in the third term.
Aptitude Test and “Views on Work”
The aptitude test has already begun, giving everyone a chance to think about both “jobs I want to do” and “jobs I’m not interested in at all.”
The teacher also tried the test and said three occupations came up, which “seemed pretty accurate.”
Even if you land your desired job, it doesn’t mean you will enjoy every single task it involves—this perspective was highlighted.
Energy from Working
The teacher is a teacher, yet there are tasks they find challenging.
For example, “speaking at assemblies” (laughs).
Even so, they feel they gain energy from working, and with that energy, their fandom activities (like going to concerts) move them deeply—and that, in turn, becomes motivation for work.
Even when there are tasks you’re not good at, the enjoyment that follows can keep you going—this was the message.
Looking Ahead
Please view aptitudes and inaptitudes from multiple angles and increase your discoveries.
Ahead of the third-term work experience, put your interests and strengths into words and connect them to what you will learn at your placement.
