一年级年级集会——铭记“今・荷・美”
今天,我们举行了一年级的年级集会。
由负责不登校支援的老师,给大家分享了三个希望“记在心里”的汉字。
老师在白板上贴出了三个字:「今」「荷」「美」。
首先是「今」。
老师说,我们有时会说:“小学的时候比较好。”
如果总是这样想,走得越远,就会觉得“过去总是更好”。
当然,大家对未来感到不安是很正常的。
正因为如此,老师希望大家能珍惜此刻,认真感受“现在”,把眼前的事情当作最重要的,全力面对。
第二个字是「荷」,行李、负荷的“荷”。
老师说,大家也许在心里背了太多“行李”。
开心的情绪、不安的情绪,全都堆在心里,会越来越累。
因此,需要学会给心里的“行李”做整理:
哪些是必须带着走的,哪些其实可以放下。
有些东西,勇敢“丢掉”没有关系。
“丢”的方式有很多种——
可以找朋友聊聊,可以跟父母说说,也可以向老师倾诉。
这些,都是帮自己放下心里“重负”的方法。
第三个字是「美」。
这里说的“美”,不仅仅是风景优美、艺术作品漂亮,
还包括你喜欢的音乐、艺术、风景等等,
以及人与人之间的温柔与善意。
比如对别人说一句温暖的话、
把自己脱下的鞋子整整齐齐摆好,
这些看似小事,也都是一种“美”。
老师说,这三个汉字其实“非常方便”。
把「今・荷・美」这三个字换个顺序,
在日语里读作「こん・び・に」,就变成了**「コンビニ」(便利店)**。
学校附近有很多便利店。
便利店不仅“方便”,也会让人觉得“有它在身边就很安心”。
老师希望大家以后看到便利店时,
能想起今天学到的这三个汉字——
珍惜“现在”、整理心中“行李”、去感受和创造“美”。

1st-Year Grade Assembly – Keeping “Now, Load, Beauty” in Your Heart
Today, we held a grade assembly for the first-year students.
A teacher in charge of support for students who find it difficult to attend school shared three kanji characters that she hopes the students will keep in their hearts.
On the whiteboard, she posted the three characters: 「今」(now), 「荷」(load), and 「美」(beauty).
The first character was 「今」 – “now.”
The teacher mentioned how people sometimes say, “Things were better back in elementary school.”
If we always think this way, then as we move forward in life, the past will keep looking “better” and better.
Of course, it is natural to feel anxious about the future.
Precisely because of that, she encouraged the students to value the present moment, really feel “now,” and face what is right in front of them with their full effort.
The second character was 「荷」 – “load” or “burden.”
The teacher said that many students may be carrying too much “baggage” in their hearts.
Happy feelings, worries, and anxieties all get packed inside, and that can become very heavy.
That is why we need to learn to organize the “load” in our hearts:
Which things do we truly need to carry with us, and which things can we actually put down?
Some things can be bravely “thrown away,” and that is okay.
There are many ways to lighten that load—
for example, talking with friends, speaking with your parents, or consulting a teacher.
All of these are ways to put down some of the weight you are carrying inside.
The third character was 「美」 – “beauty.”
Here, “beauty” does not only mean beautiful scenery or artwork.
It also includes the music you love, the art you enjoy, and the views that move you,
as well as human kindness and consideration.
Saying a kind word to someone,
or neatly lining up your shoes after taking them off—
these small actions are also forms of “beauty.”
The teacher explained that these three kanji are also “very handy.”
If you rearrange 今 (kon), 美 (bi), 荷 (ni) in Japanese,
you get “kon-bi-ni,” which sounds like conbini, the word for “convenience store.”
There are many convenience stores around the school.
A convenience store is not only “convenient,”
but also something whose presence can make people feel a bit more at ease.
The teacher ended by saying she hopes that, whenever students see a convenience store,
they will remember these three characters and their meanings—
to cherish “now,” lighten their inner “load,” and seek and create “beauty”.
