1st Grade Assembly Report (Ahead of the Ball Games Day)
Morning Scene
It felt even colder at arrival time than yesterday, and winter is definitely in the air.
Talk Overview
Today’s speaker was a Health & PE teacher.
With final exams finished, this is the time for review and reflection.
Looking Back on Term 2
There are three weeks left in the second term.
The longest term of the year may have felt long for some and gone by in a flash for others.
Ball Games Day
1st graders have one more event this term.
On the afternoon of Thursday, December 12, we will hold the Ball Games Day.
Events: dodgeball and “dodgebee” (flying-disc dodge).
When asked who has tried dodgebee, about half the hands went up.
Students will enter one of the two events in mixed-gender teams.
Each team will have one leader, with the PE Committee and team leaders coordinating.
Message from the Teacher
Please aim not only to have fun but also to ensure no one has an unpleasant experience.
Make the most of what you have learned this year and show your growth.
The teacher is very much looking forward to it and noted how impressive everyone’s effort was at the recent Music Presentation.
Closing
Let’s finish the last event of the year with great success and bring Term 2 to a strong close.
