Year 1 & 2 Classroom Observation Day
On Tuesday, March 17, we held our classroom observation event for Year 1 and Year 2 students during the fifth period. A total of nine classes — four in Year 1 and five in Year 2 — opened their doors to families.
Some students looked a little shy when they spotted their parents, while others couldn't help waving hello. Each classroom had its own pleasant buzz of excitement, just a touch different from a typical school day.
In science class, students worked in groups on electrical circuit experiments, connecting wires, discussing their findings with classmates, and carefully recording results on their worksheets. In English class, students tackled a reading activity themed around popular Osaka landmarks, following along with sentences displayed on the interactive whiteboard.
Over in the art room, students were deeply absorbed in their creative projects, while in the music room, students faced one another for a presentation activity. In social studies, a quiz app brought geography questions to life — cheers and laughter filled the room each time the answers appeared on screen.
We are truly grateful to the many families who took time out of their busy schedules to visit. We hope this observation gave you a glimpse of your children's everyday learning. Thank you, as always, for your continued understanding and support of our school's educational activities.
