一年级烹饪实习　1年4班挑战制作汉堡肉饼

目前，一年级学生正在家政课上进行烹饪实习。今天第2、3节课轮到1年4班，菜单是汉堡肉饼。

实习结束后，几位同学把完成的作品端来给我们看。汉堡肉饼煎得金黄焦香，酱汁裹得油亮诱人。盘子四周摆放着西兰花和切成圆片的胡萝卜，还有同学把胡萝卜叠起来做成立体装饰，可以看出他们在摆盘上花了不少心思。绿色与橙色在白色餐盘上相映成趣，看着就让人心情愉快。

尝了一口，味道也非常好。从火候的掌握到酱汁的调味，都能感受到同学们一边商量一边认真完成的过程。端来作品时，他们脸上那略带害羞又有点自豪的表情，也让人印象深刻。

在使用明火和刀具的实习中，洗手和安全意识同样是重要的学习内容。一年级的烹饪实习还将继续进行，我们也期待看到其他班级会端出怎样的一道菜。

Year 7 Cookery Lesson: 1-4 Make Hamburg Steaks

Year 7 pupils are currently taking part in cookery practicals in their Home Economics lessons. Today, during periods 2 and 3, it was the turn of class 1-4, and the dish of the day was hamburg steak.

After the lesson, some of the pupils kindly brought their finished plate to show us. The hamburg steak was nicely browned, with a glossy sauce coating it well. Around it sat broccoli and rounds of carrot, and one carrot had even been stacked into a little tower, showing real care over the presentation. The greens and oranges looked bright and cheerful against the white plate.

We were lucky enough to have a taste, and it was genuinely delicious. From getting the heat right to seasoning the sauce, you could tell the group had talked things through and worked on it together. The slightly shy but quietly proud looks on their faces when they handed it over were a lovely touch too.

With hobs and knives involved, handwashing and safety awareness are an important part of the learning as well. Cookery practicals will continue across Year 7, and we are looking forward to seeing what the other classes serve up.
