October Begins: Day One of the Mid-term Exams

Today marks the start of October, and the morning greeted us with clear autumn skies and a fresh, pleasant breeze. Fittingly for the first day of the month, our two-day mid-term exams got under way today.

The photos show the Class 1 form groups in each year sitting their maths paper in the first period. There was a slight air of tension in the classrooms, yet pens kept moving steadily across the pages. In every room, pupils could be seen working through each question with quiet concentration.

Today's papers are maths, social studies and Japanese. Tomorrow brings music (Years 7 and 8), English and science; Year 9 will have independent study during the music period. School lunch will be served as usual on both days.

The exams continue tomorrow. We hope everyone will stay calm and show all the hard work they have put in.
