Awards
This morning’s whole-school assembly opened with commendations for the Hardball Tennis Club, student science projects recognized at the Osaka City Junior High School Science Research Presentation, and results from the swimming block meet.
We gave a big round of applause to all awardees.
The principal also reminded us to appreciate the support behind these achievements—family members who prepare lunches and do the laundry, and teachers who guide students each day.
Principal’s Address
The principal noted that awards reflect each student’s effort, and also the unseen support of many people.
Precisely when results appear, we should express gratitude and reset our minds for the next challenge.
Student Teachers’ Farewell on Final Day
Today marked the final day of the teaching practicum.
Four student teachers offered heartfelt messages to our students.
They spoke about carrying forward the proactive learning attitudes they observed at Hokuryō into their university studies and future practicums.
They expressed gratitude for students’ positivity in class and the way they care for teammates in clubs.
They encouraged everyone to keep challenging themselves without fearing failure and to value the basics—greetings and preparation.
They shared their resolve to become teachers who bring out students’ potential, taking today’s experiences as a starting point.
The hall was filled with warm applause.
Closing
The assembly became a moment to share the meaning of effort and growth—through the achievements celebrated and the straight-from-the-heart words of the student teachers.
Let’s show our gratitude through our actions and take steady steps toward our next goals.
