今天的午餐（中华盖饭）
10月13日（星期二），今天的午餐是中华盖饭。
・中华盖饭（含鸡蛋）（含鸡蛋，另备有不含鸡蛋的餐食）
・香辣酱油烤厚炸豆腐
・黄桃（半个装罐头）
・米饭
・牛奶
中华盖饭是用猪肉搭配白菜、竹笋、香菇、韭菜等丰富蔬菜，勾芡制成的浓稠浇头。
浇在米饭上一起吃，每一口都能同时尝到配料和米饭，非常美味。
里面还有圆滚滚的鹌鹑蛋。
厚炸豆腐用烤箱烤得香喷喷的，再淋上加了豆瓣酱的甜辣酱汁。
微微的辣味让人忍不住多吃几口米饭。
饭后的黄桃清甜爽口。
今天我们来到了3年5班的教室。
这是本校最南侧的教室，从窗户可以清楚地看到泉布观（日本国家重要文化财）和造币局。
准备就绪后，全班同学一起说“我开动了！”（日语“いただきます”）。
在风景宜人的教室里，午餐时间安静而愉快地开始了。
感谢厨房工作人员和配餐员们，今天也为我们准备了美味的午餐。

Today’s School Lunch (Chuka-don)
On Tuesday, October 13, today’s lunch was chuka-don, a Chinese-style rice bowl.
・Chuka-don (contains egg) (an egg-free version is also available)
・Grilled atsuage (thick fried tofu) with spicy soy sauce
・Yellow peach (half, canned)
・Rice
・Milk
Chuka-don is a hearty topping of pork and plenty of vegetables, including napa cabbage, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, and garlic chives, all brought together in a thick, savory sauce.
It’s served over rice, so every bite has a bit of both.
There were little quail eggs in it, too.
The atsuage was baked until golden, then topped with a sweet and spicy sauce made with doubanjiang (chili bean paste).
Its gentle kick goes perfectly with rice.
The yellow peaches made for a refreshing finish.
Today we visited Class 3-5.
It’s the southernmost classroom in our school, with a clear view from the windows of the Senpukan (an Important Cultural Property of Japan) and the Japan Mint.
Once everything was ready, the whole class said “Itadakimasu!” together, the Japanese phrase said before a meal.
With that lovely view outside, lunchtime got off to a calm and pleasant start.
Thank you to our kitchen staff and serving assistants for another delicious lunch.
