为体育大会做准备　一年级学年练习（开幕式・广播体操）

今天第六节课，一年级在操场上进行了面向「体育大会」的学年练习。

据说今天大阪市上午10点前气温就达到了30℃，成为有观测记录以来最晚出现的「盛夏日」（最高气温30℃以上的日子）。虽然已是十月下旬，操场上依然阳光强烈。

一年级的同学们丝毫不受炎热影响，首先确认了开幕式的流程。各班依次整齐列队，手持班旗的同学排在队伍前方，虽然略带紧张，脸上却满是认真的神情。接下来的「广播体操」中，全年级同学把手臂伸展到位，动作在整个操场上渐渐整齐划一。

社区小学的运动会固然精彩，而中学的体育大会又有着不同的样貌。每位学生都承担着自己的角色，班级和年级一起配合动作，由大家亲手打造这个活动。对一年级来说，这是升入中学后的第一次体育大会。每一次列队、每一声口令，都让人感受到他们作为中学生迈出的新一步。

练习过程中，老师们提醒同学们及时「补充水分」，并时刻留意大家的身体状况。

距离正式比赛，学年练习还将继续进行。同学们相互鼓励、一起完善表演的样子，敬请在大会当天期待。

Year 7 Rehearse for Sports Day: Opening Ceremony and Radio Exercises

During sixth period today, Year 7 held a year-group rehearsal on the school field in preparation for our Sports Day.

In Osaka City today, the temperature reportedly reached 30°C before 10 a.m., making it the latest “midsummer day” (a day of 30°C or above) since records began. Even in late October, strong sunshine still lingered over the field.

Undeterred by the heat, Year 7 began by running through the opening ceremony. Each form lined up in turn, and the pupils carrying their class flags took their places at the front, looking a little nervous but thoroughly focused. In the radio exercises (rajio taisō) that followed, the whole year group stretched their arms out wide, and their movements gradually came together across the field.

Sports days at our local primary schools are wonderful occasions, but a junior high school Sports Day has a character of its own. Every pupil takes on a role, and classes and year groups work to move as one, building the event with their own hands. For Year 7, this will be their first Sports Day at junior high, and every line-up and every call of instruction showed them taking a new step as secondary pupils.

Throughout the rehearsal, pupils were reminded to take regular water breaks, and staff kept a close eye on how everyone was feeling.

Year-group rehearsals will continue as the big day approaches. We hope you will look forward to seeing Year 7 cheering each other on and polishing their performance on the day.
