今天的午餐（今天是便当日）
今天，为本校提供营养午餐的「亲校」西船场小学因举办学校活动，午餐暂停一天。
于是，大家都带着便当度过了这一天。
（有没有人忘记带了呢！？）
在2年1班，同学们把课桌拼在一起，大家一起说「我开动了」。
由于不需要分餐的时间，看得出来今天似乎能比平时更早进入午休时光。
平日的营养午餐固然让人感激，而像这样打开家人一大早就为我们准备好的便当的日子，也有着一份特别的喜悦呢。
掀开盖子那一刻的笑容，正是感谢之情的最好写照。各位家长，真的非常感谢！
从明天起，西船场小学的烹饪员与营养教谕为我们准备的温暖午餐又将回归。下一次的菜单也很令人期待呢。

Today's Lunch (Bring-Your-Own-Bento Day)
Today, Nishi-Semba Elementary School—the "parent school" that prepares our school lunches—was holding a school event, so there was no school lunch.
Instead, everyone brought their own bento for the day.
(We hope nobody forgot theirs!)
In Class 2-1, students pushed their desks together and said "itadakimasu" all together.
With no serving time needed, it looked as though lunch break might arrive a little earlier than usual today.
Our regular school lunches are always something to be grateful for, but there's a special kind of joy in opening up a bento that someone at home prepared for us early in the morning, too.
The smiles the moment those lids came off said it all. To all the families—thank you so very much!
Starting tomorrow, the warm school lunches prepared by the kitchen staff and nutrition teacher at Nishi-Semba Elementary will be back. We're already looking forward to the next menu!
