Today marks the beginning of a three-week teaching practicum.
Four trainee teachers will work together with the students as members of Hokuryō Junior High School. We look forward to their time here.
In today’s address, the principal spoke about September 1st, Disaster Prevention Day, and the false rumors (ryūgen) that spread during the Great Kanto Earthquake.
While being prepared with supplies is important, the principal emphasized the need for mental preparedness: not spreading false rumors and protecting those in vulnerable positions.
Finally, the chairperson of the Election Management Committee made the official announcement of the school election. With a confident and dignified attitude, they carried out their role admirably—truly befitting of a 3rd grader.
Although today is the official start of autumn on the calendar, the hot weather is still continuing.
Please be mindful of heatstroke, and let’s do our best throughout this week.
