关注言语的一天 —— 问候活动与一年级年级集会

今天早晨天空多云，略带凉意。虽然预报午后有雨，但前来上学的学生们一如既往，精神饱满地走进校门。

在校门口，几名斜挎绶带的学生正在开展问候活动。"以笑容度过每一天""注视对方的眼睛问候""今天也加油吧"——正如各自绶带上写的话语，他们向前来上学的同学们开朗地打着招呼。一天伊始相互问候的话语，有着让现场气氛变得柔和的力量。

今天早晨，我们举行了一年级年级集会。本次的主题是"言语的力量"。负责的老师谈到，我们每天使用的言语，既有伤害他人的力量，也有支撑他人、给人安心的力量。在校园生活中，与朋友之间不经意的对话和举止，有时会对对方的心情产生很大的影响。

集会上，大家一起思考了恶语、嘲弄和粗暴的话语会如何传达给对方。同时，也学习了"谢谢""你还好吗?""帮了大忙了"这样的温暖话语，是如何让人与人之间的关系变得更好的。学生们一边专注聆听，一边回顾自己的言谈方式以及与朋友相处的方式。

对一年级学生而言，初中生活正是构筑新的人际关系的重要时期。"珍惜自己　珍惜身边的人"——希望以今天的学习为契机，能够促成一个彼此尊重、安心相处的年级。也希望各位家长在家中，能静静倾听孩子讲述平凡一天里的点滴。

A Day Spent Reflecting on Words — The Greeting Campaign and the Year 7 Assembly

This morning was cloudy and pleasantly cool. Rain was forecast for the afternoon, but the pupils arriving at school passed through the gates as cheerfully as ever.

At the entrance, students wearing sashes were taking part in the greeting campaign. "Spend the day with a smile," "Look people in the eye when you greet them," "Let's give our best today" — true to the words written on each sash, they called out brightly to their schoolmates as they arrived. The greetings exchanged at the start of the day have a way of softening the mood of the moment.

This morning, we held the Year 7 assembly. The theme this time was "the power of words". A member of staff spoke about how the words we use every day can carry the power to hurt others, but also the power to support and reassure them. In school life, a casual remark or gesture between friends can have a real effect on how another person feels.

During the assembly, the pupils thought together about how unkind remarks, teasing, and rough language reach the person on the receiving end. They also learned how warm words — "thank you," "are you all right?", "you really helped me" — can make relationships between people better. Listening closely, the pupils reflected on their own choice of words and the way they relate to their friends.

For Year 7 pupils, the early days of junior high school are an important time for building new relationships. "Value yourself, value the person beside you" — we hope today's lesson will be a starting point for a year group in which everyone respects one another and feels at ease. At home, too, we would be grateful if you could take a quiet moment to listen to your child's account of an ordinary day.
