挑战「中学生挑战测试」！（三年级）
今天，三年级学生正在参加中学生挑战测试（中学生チャレンジテスト）。从第一节课的国语开始，到第五节课的英语为止，一整天共考五门科目。
这项测试的目的，是让学生正确了解自己学习的达成状况。比起分数本身，更重要的是确认现在的自己已经掌握了多少、还有哪些地方差一步。今天正是为此而设的一天。
现在是第三节课的数学。教室里只听得见铅笔的声音，可以看到学生们凝视着试卷、坚持思考到最后的样子。大家都在全力以赴地面对题目。
还剩两门科目。希望学生们在休息时间补充水分，稍微放松肩膀，一边调整身体状况，一边把力量发挥到最后。今天也要展现北棱团队的样子，珍惜每一道题。

Taking on the Challenge Test (Year 9)
Today our Year 9 pupils are sitting the Chūgakusei Challenge Test (中学生チャレンジテスト), a prefecture-wide assessment. Beginning with Japanese in period one and finishing with English in period five, they will sit five subjects across the day.
The purpose of the test is for pupils to gain an accurate picture of where they stand in their own learning. Rather than the score itself, what matters is knowing how much they have secured so far, and where one more step remains.
They are now in period three, mathematics. Only the sound of pencils can be heard in the classrooms, and pupils could be seen looking closely at their papers and thinking things through to the very end. Everyone is working hard and facing each question head on.
Two subjects remain. We hope pupils will take some water during the breaks, ease their shoulders a little, and look after themselves so that they can give their best right to the finish. Today too, in true Team Hokuryō spirit, one question at a time.
